Publisher Description
F*ck Prince Charming. Sometimes, you need a Magnificent B@stard.
Face it, ladies: love sucks and then you cry…while your ex rides off into the sunset banging your best friend.
But why let a break-up end in tears when it can end with sweet revenge? Enter Magnificent B Consulting and me, chief executive B. I’ve got it all—looks, brains, a heart of gold, and the fake dating instincts guaranteed to make your ex regret the day he said goodbye.
With the help of my virtual assistant, I’ve built an empire giving broken-hearted women the vengeance they deserve. Life is a bowl of cherries, until my virtual assistant shows up on my real doorstep for the first time, begging for an intervention of her own.
Damn… She’s a bona fide sex kitten.
I pride myself on being a pro, but pretending to be her lover soon leads to so much more.
So what’s my next move? Fight for the girl who makes me want to get on a white
horse and ride to her rescue, or stay a Magnificent B to the end?
Note: A super sexy romantic comedy from the hero’s point of view. Lots of dirty talk. Ridiculous chemistry. Banter that qualifies as foreplay and a swoony HEA!

Hilarious *and* sexy!
This was my first Lili Valente read, but I'll be keeping an eye out for future titles (especially Aidan's - give that guy a book!)
The plot is well-paced; good dialogue in the present (almost all from the MMC's POV) and emails and texts between the MMC and FMC to fill in the past. I laughed to the point of side-eye from my husband at several points. The dialogue is witty, frequently bantering, but not overwhelming the character development that keeps things moving forward (even if that involves a step or two backwards at times).
The conclusion is satisfying, although I thing both MC's glossed over the actual conflict rather fast. Minor quibbles on balance.
Definitely rereadable :)

I Loved this Book!!!
This may be my new favorite book by Lili Valente!
When I first read the blurb for this book I was never expecting it to be as heartfelt and loving as it is. While the premise for the book is pretty original and done in a very tongue-in-cheek way, it is actually a very sweet and romantic love story.
I think what I liked best about this book was that there wasn't a lot of angst and drama between Bash and Penny. They were both very upfront with their flirtation and didn't send each other mixed signals. It was obvious from the get-go that they had passion and chemistry and I loved that Bash wasn't ashamed to admit it. Sure they hit a slight bump in the road but what lovable couple doesn't.
I would highly recommend this book and although it's a stand alone novel, I would love to see these two again in another book:)
Entertaining
Laugh out loud moments punctuate a great love story. Loved it!
