Publisher Description
I wish I was my own boss. I wish I was my own boss. I wish I was my own boss.
Ash Wintergreen is the biggest jerk I know. I call him the mega Ash-hole.
When the financial distress of my family forces me to sell my little business and move back home to Silver Mountain, Vermont, I have to take a job working for the person I hate most in the universe. Kill. Me. Now.
I hate Ash so much that if he and I were the last man and woman on the planet... you better believe you could kiss goodbye to the human race. Every time he offends me, I fill my notebooks with sketches of him dying in the most satisfying ways-- like a piano falling on his head.
So when he gives me the awful task of being his fake-fiancé... and threatens my job if I don't help him? Well, I know exactly where he can shove that idea.
But then it hits me. Maybe I can negotiate. I'll be his little fake whatever, as long as he gives my land back. If only he would consider promoting me to being his partner in the company… Because I'm a boss, too.
I am so sick of being stuck under Ash.
Maybe if I could be on top sometimes, he would be a little more tolerable...
A small-town, enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy with a guaranteed HEA.
Sweet and steamy, over the top, billionaire boss hero, lots of laughs.

Funny and kinda cute!
Even though I got this on a whim not knowing who was the author and her other books, I thought book three was funny and kinda cute. I would’ve given this five stars but I thought it kinda dragged a little and the other half felt a bit rushed for the heroine to forgive the love phobic main character rather quickly after he pushed her away due to his own insecurities. One of the strong points about liking the story is the main lead female character is an Asian young woman who’s adopted by a white hard working middle class family and who can diss out anything the alpha male says to her. Overall I thought it was fun reading on how she drew on paper on how she thought about him?!! I laughed at the hilarious moments between the couple and each of their own inner thoughts. It was a fun short story.
Still gets five stars
Loved the story. There were times where characters spoke in unrealistic ways. And for me the end seemed rushed and a bit cheesy. Still, I’ll give 5 stars for this enemies to lovers romance because the story was entertaining and the chemistry was off the charts. Wish it was longer too.
Awesome enemies to lovers romance!
This story is full of twists and turns that keep you reading until the very end. Hysterical banter between the two main characters has me dying of laughter again and again!
