Fall into Me

As the first book. Even though it's a little too close for comfort, having to re-read and being told everything again. It reveals a lot of information!

This story is told in both Tristan and Nina's POV.
Tristan has been given a second chance to correct the mistake he made the first time by withholding the truth from Nina. This story is about Tristan deciding if he will tell the truth instead of hiding it from Nina in hopes to change the outcome of the way their relationship ended the first time. It seemed promising that given an opportunity to correct a wrong Tristan would worry about fixing that instead of trying to rekindle the romance.

Nina's memory may be lost, but her focus on having intercourse is driving me crazy.Nina is still judging Tristan and she is obsessed with his image. She has the same insecurities as before. She still doubts her worthiness. She still is consumed by his body and desire instead of the man who had secrets. Nina has not changed at all. Nina may be creating new memories, but she has not changed her foolish ways of thinking. Nina still doubt Tristan's love for her. Nina places so much importance on his money, image, and appearance.

Nothing has been accomplished. Apparently the author is only interested in writing about the physical chemistry between them. There is no denying the chemistry, but what about telling the truth?
I wanted to like this story and thought it had the potential to be better than the first, but it's exactly the same as the first. Creating new memories and having sex does not accomplish anything. It took a lot of skimming through the story but I finally made it to the end. Once Tristan finally revealed the truth I did not get the closure I was hoping for. Instead what we got was another obstacle and more drama. At this point I do not care if they are ever together. All this drama has taken away from the connection that Tristan was trying to establish.
