Fall of the Stars (In Love And War: Book Two)
England is bleeding.
And there isn’t a thing I can do about it.
I am once again a prisoner to Wessex, captured by King Egbert because holding me hostage will bring them to him—my two Vikings who will risk heaven and earth to save me.
But I don’t need saving.
I am Princess Emeline, and I was taught by the best, and his name…Skarth the Godless.
The man whom I love more than anything in this world.
But things begin to blur when Ulf the Bloody reminds me of the promise I made, and that promise is that I belong to him.
We must work together to overthrow King Egbert, but the war I fight within my heart is far more dangerous than anything I will ever face on the battlefield.
The choice is not simple because we all must make sacrifices. But I soon realize that all is not fair in love and war.
Lives will be lost.
Hearts will be broken.
And come dawn, life as we know it will be changed forevermore.
Written InThe Stars
“Love is a complicated beast. It doesn’t make sense because it shouldn’t. Matters of the heart never do.”
Skarth, Emeline, and Ulf are back for the war they were intended to fight. Lives will be lost, revenge will be had and love will be tested. But all’s fair in Love and War. . .
My mind is at war with itself.
Decisions, Decisions. . .
I can’t decide!!!
Well Monica has done it again taking an unexpected romance to an all time next level. If you didn’t love Skarth and Ulf in “North Of The Stars”, you are definitely going to fall to your knees and worship them in “Fall Of The Stars.” My mind is trying to take in everything I read over the last 2 days. The sexual chemistry is unbelievably out of this world. Hold on to your horses because Chapter 15 is blistering hot (no skipping ahead). And when you think nothing can be hotter than what you just read in 15, then you stumble right on into Chapter 18, I might have reread that chapter twice 😉. I miss this trio already, James has left me with the biggest book hangover. Is this The End? I’m at a loss for words.
There is a reason this book is the number 1 release in Viking Historical Romances, because it must be read! I can’t recommend this book enough, it’s written in the stars!
I believe it was written in the stars for me to meet both men as they taught me so much. They made me the strong woman I am today.
Absolutely stunning - I need a Viking or two!
Fall of the Stars is the absolute stunning conclusion to the most twisted and dark Viking romance I’ve ever read! I feel like my heart got ripped right out of my chest and trampled on only for Monica to say hold on, as she shoved it back in and started it beating once again. But just when I thought my mind and heart were recovering from the emotional damage - the twists, lies, betrayal, hunger, hate and love came roaring back with a vengeance! Emeline is fierce and probably the most vulnerable, yet determined heroine I’ve ever read. While the the men that worship and love her are spectacular in their own ways and had me conflicted, intrigued and falling. Everything about this story consumed me and I had to know who would win, lose, or die and which love would prevail even though I was afraid of the answer! The ending shocked me to my core and I think will stay with me for a long time. Fall of the Stars is breathtaking, gut wrenching, and full of fiery passion and it made me want a Viking or two for myself.
