I had no idea what to expect when I bought this book. What a pleasant surprise! The author's portrait of Aaron Burr is not only well documented, but placed in context for his time.

A pleasure to read this fresh look at one of our country's early leaders and shapers. It definitely requires of everyone a rethinking regarding Aaron Burr's motivations, his contributions to this country, and his life.
