Engaging Characters!
I loved the way LeClaire wrote such real and charming characters! They were sweet and poignant and utterly believable. Great story- I felt like I was in the middle of it while it unfolded. Wonderful!
Could have been better!
Very choppy read…A good story but it had a horrible flow and writing style.
Fun Read
I loved these characters and the fact that the author included dogs as a big part of the story was just the cherry on top. While the story was somewhat predictable it was also very refreshing. I loved Mr and Mrs. Valentine what a sweet couple they were hard not to love. I did not read the other books in the series so I can't tell you if there was any follow up on other characters. I like Stacy she jumped on the pages and seem to be a great sister and didn't take much from Jason she didn't give back. I liked that the author kept this book a clean read so that it would be suitable for all. Overall this book was a quick read and I really enjoyed it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
