These books are a reorganization and reissue of an earlier version, published under different names. For a review of the first book in the duet, please go to my profile. At the end of the first book, Blake and Erin were faced with the compromising position that their relationship made for them due to his position as the professor for one of the last classes that she needed for graduation. He made the decision to put their relationship on hold until after she graduated. However they both found that difficult in practice. Their relationship was fraught with external stressors including family, the profession/student relationship, the age difference, wealth vs poverty, and a dark secret, not to mention Blake’s PTSD and both his and Erin’s insecurities. Throughout all of that, their love and chemistry shone through. This is an open door book which is very spicy. As in Book 1, I feel that the story took a back seat to the spice. The story could have had more meat to it, and although there was a little more story than the first book, it was still a little thin. I continue to like these two flawed human beings and the fact that their connection was able to weather many storms. The narration of this audiobook was done well and brought the story to life. Listeners who are looking for an age-gap story with tons of spice and lots of ups and downs, should listen to this one. This is the conclusion of the Modern Fairytale Duet and continues right where “Beauty and The Professor” left off. Blake & Erin have many obstacles that try to keep them apart. Will they succeed or will this “Beast” finally get his Beauty? He will do anything to keep Erin safe, even risking his own happiness to do so. Erin and Blake are the perfect modern fairytale with a sexy twist and I truly enjoyed this updated version of the story. A perfect ending for this duet! Told in dual POV

Audiobook review for Falling for the Bbeast by Skye Warren
Narrated by Lia Longola and Stephen Dexter

I liked the audiobook of Falling for the beast but didn’t quite love the concluding story of Erin and Blake Morris. I felt frustrated by Erin and Blake at times. But I guess that’s what the author wanted us to feel their angst? Anyways, I did like the first book but I think I was hoping to much for the 2nd book.
