Locked In
An unusual first date for old friends when an unexpected event has them locked in all night. Most truths come out, feelings are revealed, but will all be forgiven when not everything is told upfront. Enjoy this sweet novella of second chance with the one who got away.

It was okay
As much as I like the whole sexy alpha but sweet men falling for curvy women, I thought this short story was okay. It kinda dragged on by the usual tug a war or the push & pull effect when two people are reluctant to express their true feelings despite of their secrets or insecurities (mainly from Neve). I wished it had a little more chapters but it’s one of those rushed short digital romances.
Fabulous friends to lovers!
This was an impressive book for me. I enjoy the friends to lovers and second chance tropes but they are not my favorites. That being said, I completely fell into this story. Liam and Neve met in High School. They both had feelings for each other but felt that they could only be friends.
Liam joined the military and then ran a security company upon his return to civilian life. He would occasionally work at the bank that Neve worked at just so he could see her. After an attempted robbery, Neve and Liam are trapped together in a vault.
Luckily there, they were able to work out the misunderstandings. That made it possible for them to proceed with an actual relationship.
This author has written some fabulous books and this one can be counted among them!.
