incredible…..ly expensive
This series is awesome. It shows such a dramatic peek into the universe of 40k (excuse me, 30k). It is just to fascinating to not read. I will probably continue the series despite the $16 price tag.
The Fall of Horus
A fantastic sequel to Horus Rising. Going from seeing the Luna Wolves at their best to witnessing their worst traits manifest is a fantastic read. Watching Horus’s fall to chaos is melancholic, and the drama of it all is wonderfully written.
The Legion Rift
Great cliff-hanger! It stops right at the point of no return. I can't wait to read the next book.
Quite a dark book. I think avid fans of the 40k omniverse yearn to hear about the glorious days before the Warmasters's treason. This book reveals just enough of those marvels to whet the reader's appetite and then dashes them against the traitor's anvil making the reader yearn for the Emperor or his loyal Astartes to put a stop to the madness.
