Any child entering kindergarten or already in school, has a friend or comes in contact with at least a few types of families that appear in this book. The book helps today’s children understand the differences and similarities among the different types of family structures that exist. The common ‘glue’ for any family is the bond of love. Every child identifies with one of the families presented in the book and feels part of the story. The book emphasizes the importance of recognizing and accepting all types of families and their children. Limor Talmor, an Israeli writer, is a single mother, who teaches Hebrew language, literature, and composition. Limor has written two children's books, and prepared over 30 preschool illustrated tutorials, and writes children’s stories for bibliotherapy treatment. She also leads literary workshops called "The Author Tells".
