This entire series is AMAZING! I especially enjoy the contributions by Beth Prentice who always takes us on an exciting mystery/murder visit to Aloha Lagoon on Kauai. The star of the show is Sam, an Australian transplant who teaches surfing to kids, and along with her hunky boyfriend Casey the bartender, and her best friend and surf shop owner Alani are always right in the thick of things especially when it comes to them embroiling themselves in a murder investigation. This time Alani is accused and the fun ensues with twists and turns, danger, an unprdictable ending and even a little romance on the side. So, know that this does fine as a standalone but you will want to go back and read the entire 15 book series once you’re done with this one, because, it’s really unputdownable!
