One of Rebecca Shea's best works of art!
I am SO in love with these characters! Frankie and Cole have a long, beautiful history of love, passion, friendship and firsts. There are secrets haunting each of them after a terrible gut wrenching break up. I thought I was on top of figuring out those secrets and knew what twist the book would take next and I just wasn't even close! I am incredibly invested and hoping that Rebecca will revisit these characters in the future! I couldn't have asked for a better and more fulfilling book. #bookhangover #frankieandcole
Fault lines, five stars!!
I really loved this book. I love how the title can have so many more meanings than the geological meaning. This is second chance romance at its best. This book slips seamlessly between past and present day with the two main characters Frankie/Frances and Cole. If you read the synopsis, you know that Frankie loved Cole since she was eleven. You know that at nineteen he breaks her heart and you know that 10 years later they will have to face the past that still holds them both hostage. But what you don’t know is why Cole breaks her heart, that he breaks his own heart too, and that the heartbreak sets so many things in motion that have huge impacts on both of their lives. One day, one action can change your whole life. This is a story of love, loss, lies, and forgiveness with a very beautiful ending. I’m really hoping this becomes a series, I fell in love with the supporting characters and I would love their stories.
Wow Wow Wow
Let me start off by saying, I have loved everything Rebecca has written. She is an incredible story teller. Fault Lines is nothing short of amazing; I’m going to go ahead and say it’s her best yet! The cover is stunning and I cannot wait to get my hands on a paperback so I can see it in person. From the first chapter of the book, I could feel every emotion she wrote. Every laugh, every tear, every heartbreak. I kept thinking I knew what was coming and then boom, I was shocked again. I would give this book 10 stars if I could. I will definitely be recommending this to everyone who will listen!
