What is active faith?
Kierkegaard speaks as a modern man. The father of Christian Existentialism, he portrayed faith as the antidote to the absurd (uncertainty and despair). He showed a knight of faith who tested the promises of God. The boring man is one who dwells unthoughtful while the daring man takes the challenge of God. Therefore, let us work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
