Not until a gentle spring evening when his hat disappeared, and suddenly he couldn't remember the last four hours of his life. Now, the quiet university town of Atworthy is changing - slightly at first, then faster and more frighteningly each time he tries to remember.

“A true scare!” —Ray Bradbury

“What I’m writing is really psychological fantasies, on the order of L. Ron Hubbard’s Fear. Without Fear, I would never have come up with what I do.” —Philip K. Dick

Loved it!

A friend recommended this book because I want to read Horror stories and I loved it!
I finished reading in two days I couldn’t put the book away, I got scared, confused, got excited. It made me debate if what was happening in the story was true or not and I really enjoyed the end so to me that’s a good book and was easy to read. I also end up downloading the audio book to listen to it with my husband. I recommend both formats.

I think it's an excellent start in the horror genre.

Fear

Read this book I did in soft back in the late 90's. I really liked it, I lost it going to read it again. Must read if you like nail biting books.
