Beautifully written second chance
I’ve purchased almost every one of Zoe York’s books, so if I have the chance to get an arc from her, I jump on it. In Fearless at Heart, we get more than a second chance romance twenty years in the making. We also get a wonderful book with amazing characters that have each other’s backs, when they’re needed. January takes over at Howe’s Marina so her sister, August, can do an overseas stint for Canadian Forces. Seth is used to dealing with August when he flies in with his float plane, but this summer he’s taken on more jobs flying out of Pine Harbour. Of course, he didn’t know of the switch, but he can’t say he’s unhappy to see January again. They each have scars from their time together, so maybe this summer they can be friends again. I’m not going to leave any spoilers, so if you’re looking for a slow burn, steamy romance, grab your copy. You won’t be disappointed.

Long, slow burn
Talk about a slow burn…
Try twenty years, babe.
Seth and January were friends and lovers in high school.
Then Seth left. They were essentially apart for twenty years. Until the summer they decide to hook up. They have chemistry to burn, but the cherry on top? They are friends. Love it! Time to wake up and stop being dormant, Seth.

This story is 20 years in the making for January and Seth. High school sweethearts, who left each other go to so they could grow and experience life away from Pine Harbor. Only to return and rekindle that love!
