This overall was a very different feel from the other books. This is the very first time Lauren is actually is writing a book and coming up with ideas so I shouldn’t be surprised. This might be an opinion not a lot of people have but why did Kitt die? After that horrible fact we found out Payden and Kai have a kid named kit? Nevermind the fact I thought that Kitt and Payden were becoming friends. That wasn’t a plot twist that was an entirely different turn from the actual story. I had to take so many breaks from this book and skip some parts of because how it was so excruciating to read. I think we forget that Kitt is the only person in the book who is pure. So having him kill Payden is so unrealistic. Honestly I feel like Lauren shouldn’t have wrote her own book and just copied someone else’s cause this is terrible.
holy plot twist
the amount of plot twists in this book is wild but i loved it anyway even though the end was kinda bittersweet
