An imposter princess
Helena’s story and a retelling of The Goose Girl.
This story is a bit darker and takes us away from the familiar setting of Grimm Academy. I must admit to not being at all familiar with the original tale but that did t take away my enjoyment of this story. It was lovely to finally read Helena’s story as she was so much a part of four others. Treachery, deceit, a valiant price, a hidden princess and a hea what more could you want? A very enjoyable story.

Knowledge is Power
I enjoy this series. We’ve been introduced to Princess Helena and know of her prophesy, ‘The Goose Girl’ in the previous stories but Helena gets her own story and we get the full details of her prophesy. Knowledge is power in the story as her fear and anxiety are present but everyone especially her beloved Prince Wilhem is prepared for any foul play. Happy ever after.

On the way to the wedding
Helena has been engaged to Wilhelm since childhood. Through letters and occasional visits, they’ve managed to build a close connection despite their long-distance relationship. But is it strong enough to overcome a betrayal on the way to the wedding? Helena’s been dreading her prophecy almost as much as she’s been anticipating her wedding. Without her friends around, she has to trust in Wilhelm’s love to beat the odds.
Feathers of Fate retells the story of the Goose Girl, a Princess tricked out of marriage and condemned to life as a lowly goose maid. Helena is the last of the core group of friends at Grimm’s Academy to fight her prophecy. As she’s watched her friends survive the fates against them, she has hope that she can as well.
