Federal Constitutions: A Comparative Study of Malaysia and the United States

Federal Constitutions is a comparative study of the federal principles enshrined in the constitutions of the Malaysia and the United States. This study focuses in particular on the distribution of legislative and financial powers, which are central elements in the working of the federal system of governance, in the constitutions of Malaysia and the United States. It examines the constitutional debates leading to the formulation of the constitutions of both countries to discern the guiding principles, ideas, compromises and intentions of the framers.
