RT Book Reviews proclaims that the O’Brien Family series from award-winning author Cecy Robson “has the hottest brothers ever!” And in FEEL ME, Declan, the sexy, driven powerhouse meets the one woman immune to his charm . . .
Declan O’Brien was always driven to take his place among Philly’s elite, working hard for everything he’s earned, including the title of Assistant District Attorney. He’s won seemingly impossible cases, so he’s furious when he’s assigned to lead the one unit he doesn’t want.
Melissa Fenske was born hearing impaired to a neglectful mother, finding solace when she was adopted by a young attorney, now Declan’s boss. As the current Director of Victim Services, Melissa’s livid when Declan is placed in the main unit she oversees. She can’t forget their disastrous first encounter. Or shake how he makes her feel.
Declan considers the assignment another step toward his political aspirations, despite that he can’t get Melissa out of his mind. Melissa sees Declan as egotistical and self-serving, kicking herself for how fast she’s falling for him. Someone as hot, smooth, and perfect as Declan isn’t supposed to want her.
In another situation with any other woman, Declan wouldn’t hesitate to take Melissa to bed. But she is the boss’s daughter, and for once, Declan finds himself wanting more than just a one night stand.
Neither counted on each other. Both just met their match.

L-O-V-E-D It!
Swoon worthy hero? Check. Strong determined heroine? Check. Major attitude and animosity? Check. Being in total denial of your feelings. Oh yeah!
Declan and Melissa were fantastic together. Their animosity and heat towards one another was off the charts and I loved being absorbed into it all. Great verbal sparing, flirting, playfulness, and that building of heat as well as such sizzling chemistry. There were so many great moments between them and I couldn’t get enough.I had been waiting for Declan and Melissa’s story and Ms. Robson didn’t disappoint. I adore the fact that it was dual POV and I really got to know both of them and feel what they were feeling.
I also enjoyed reconnecting with all their friends and family from previous books. I love the the fierceness of this family and the loyalty they have to each other and to their community. I think it is what really makes this series so special. A simply excellent read. Loved It! Highly Recommended!

Hard of Hearing & this book was alright…
I love the O’Brien family series & this book filled my heart with the wholesome content. I loved that Melissa is a fellow smut fan. The only thing that truly bothered me is the fact that “hearing impaired” was used frequently. Deaf people absolutely hate being called hearing impaired and prefer to go by “deaf” or “hard of hearing.” Another part of the book that I didn’t like was that Melissa (spoilers) says her baby is “absolutely perfect” after finding out she can hear. It rubs me the wrong way and insinuates that deaf people cannot be perfect since they cannot hear.
Refreshing
FEEL ME is a delightful and refreshing story. It is the fourth book in the O’Brien family series and is a standalone, although the characters are interconnected. This is the first book I have read by Cecy Robson and now I want to read the other three books in this series.
Declan O’Brien, an assistant district attorney and Melissa Fenski are thrown together when they both work in the sexual assault unit. Declan is used to women throwing themselves at him but Melissa doesn't show any interest and disagrees with him all the time. Melissa is strong and opinionated and Declan finds himself attracted to her brains and her fiery passion.
Melissa is partially deaf and has a difficult time dealing with people's careless attitude about her impairment. Even though it hasn't been easy for her, Melissa has worked hard towards her goals and is well respected and successful in her field. She is grounded, committed and driven and loves her job helping abused women and children. She works tirelessly for the victims of abuse, although it can be a heartbreaking thankless job.
Even though Declan is successful and confident, he has a sweet side underneath his good looks and cocky attitude and he sincerely wants to help others. Declan is a womanizer and doesn't believe in love and his sole focus is on his career. He doesn't have room in his life for Melissa but yet he can't seem to resist her. Declan doesn't care about Melissa's disability and his compassion and caring stole my heart. They are both stubborn and opinionated and argue a lot but there is also a lot of chemistry between them.
What I enjoyed the most about this story is the large, close knit, boisterous O’Brien family. They keep Declan grounded. Most people agree with everything Declan says but his family is not afraid to express their opinions and don't care about hurting Declan’s feeling feeling. They are also the first ones to defend Declan and he knows they will always have his back.
Thanks to the author for providing a copy of this book vIa Cocktails and Books and Netgalley. The opinions expressed are my own.
