Felt

This is a revised English version of a popular Lithuanian book "Veltinis" ("Felt") by fibre artist Vilte Kazlauskaite.



The new edition is full of technical tips and inspiring illustrations of Lithuanian felt makers' works. It reviews the origin of felt, the nature of felt and wool.



The book introduces different felting techniques - wet felting, nuno felting, cobweb felting, 3D felting, it also gives a short introduction to needle felting and knit felt.



There are a lot of tips and tricks, a lot of attention is paid to decorative surface of felt, and the book also encourages mixing of techniques, improvising and experimenting.



The book is filled with beautiful photos of 13 felt makers' work.
