Bravo Carol Olmstead!!!
Carol did a fantastic job of distilling the essence of very complex subject matter and presenting it in a way that is easy to digest and assimilate into our daily lives. Her style of writing is very warm, personable, and down to earth. As Carol explains in her book, Feng Shui should not be thought of as merely a quant Chinese tradition. It is a powerful way of bringing the peace and harmony we feel in nature into our homes and workspaces.... She goes on to say, " Feng Shui is like acupuncture for your home, unblocking the flow of positive energy, removing negative energy , and allowing you to achieve your goals - without using needles." I learned a lot of interesting things in this book. It is perfect for beginners as well as those who are already quite familiar with the art of Feng Shui. For instance, although I am a certified practitioner, I loved how concise and clear her explanations were. I also loved the calendars of clutter clearing tasks and Feng Shui cures she included in this book! Knowing what you need to do in your home is one thing, but this can be overwhelming unless you or someone else breaks down the tasks into doable bite sized pieces. Given the fact that I tend towards the ADD side, I am all to willing to let Carol tell me what to do and when. LOL. Thank you Carol!
