Fergus Hume Collection

Worth reading by someone who likes mysteries from the British perspective of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. There is a significant amount of social commentary and harbinger’s of social change with the introduction of motor cars, some economic theory becoming absorbed by the masses, contrasted with the prevailing beliefs of class roles clearly shared by the author.
