Fun Dog to the Rescue!
Such a fun romantic comeday! The author takes us on a hilarious road trip with Rhett, Stephanie and a dog named Sweetness as they drive to a dilapidated apple orchard. So many crazy things happen! Rhett and Stephanie don't even know each other but they strike a deal since Stephanie needs a ride and Rhett is going her way. Enter the dog named Sweetness who constantly brings "home" stray animals who are in need of help. It's a great book and one that will make you laugh AND cry!
A fun read!!
Fetching Sweetness is a new, fun, lighthearted romance from Dana Mentink. This book is full of quirky characters, funny mishaps, and just the right amount of romance. I enjoyed getting to know Stephanie and Rhett, the main characters. Stephanie has dreams of being a literary agent and travels cross country to meet with an aloof author and get a copy of her new book. What Stephanie doesn't know is that she is embarking on the adventure of a lifetime to return the author's dog to her after he runs away. Along the way, she meets Rhett who helps her on this journey of returning the dog and getting the book. I also can't forget to mention that readers (especially dog lovers like myself) will fall in love with Sweetness who will steal your heart and keep you in stitches. You'll have to read the book to see just what kind of adventures Sweetness will take Rhett and Stephanie on and how their future unfolds as they are both dealing with their pasts. What I have come to appreciate about a story by Dana Mentink is she can address issues of reconciliation, forgiveness, etc., but also make me laugh out loud as well. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for my honest review.
