Delightful!
Another glorious book from Boynton! The hardback of this should be in every family’s library.
Warning spoilers!!!
I watched her closely for any sign that she knew what was coming. I saw none.
In the reflection of the mirror on the bureau I saw the concern in her eyes, for this being that would do such an insane thing to so many innocent victims. I saw the disbelief. I saw the horror.
She had just never experienced that such blatant disregard for life could exist in this world.
So at the grand finale, you better believe she left this experience profoundly changed, indelibly one bubble wrap layer lighter than she arrived.
