Publisher Description
Liam Johnson is the quiet one of the group. He hides behind a screen and watches as life unfolds for people all around the world. He served his country and now serves his team, but he’s never been the one people run to for help, especially not women.
Caitlyn Powers was born with the world at her beck and call. As a child model, she had everything she could have ever wanted. She never understood the word no, and she never cared to. But everything changed when her entire world came crashing down around her and the one person she always counted on disappeared.
Liam expects his trip home for his parents’ 40th anniversary party to be quick and uneventful. The curvy waitress who serves him dinner looks just like his high school crush. When she gives him her phone number and asks him to meet her after the party, Liam knows there’s no way it’s Caitlyn.
Except he’s wrong. And meeting her might be the most dangerous thing he’s ever done.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This is the first book I have read from this series so I can say that you don't have to read the prior stories to fully understand and enjoy this one. I loved having this written in a multiple POV format. Especially the villain of the story. Just WOW!
As someone who was a size 24, I could totally understand and identify with the female protagonist, Caitlyn Powers. Well except I was always a large girl and never a skinny model. I fell in love with Liam Johnson (English). Nerdy Liam had a crush on Caitlyn growing up and he doesn't recognize her at first. Liam is in town to look for a missing person and uses his parents party as a cover.
Caitlyn reported her BFF missing but no one has taken her seriously and have written the friend off as if she left town. Caitlyn knows better. Upon seeing Liam again, she wants to enlist his help not knowing his true intent.
This two have some hurdles to overcome in finding out what happened to her friend. Who can they trust in a town that doesn't like Caitlyn and definitely not her missing friend.
This is a sexy read so I would caution anyone who doesn't care for that.
