Find a Hero is an unpredictable romp through a gritty future San Francisco. The novel has compelling characters as well as such engrossing action scenes that reading the book often feels like watching an edge of your seat action film. The protagonist, Zilch, subverts the trope of the traditional female action hero, proving that skin tight clothes and sex appeal are not necessary to get the job done. The story also is a comment on our ever increasing reliance on technology and the way it affects how we process information.
