In a cold, dark basement, a girl in captivity struggles to keep track of the days, to maintain her identity, and-most importantly-to stay alive. 

When a teenage girl goes missing in a small town it's up to Detective Emily Anderson to track her down. The circumstances of which are eerily similar to her own sister's-she must keep her emotions separate in order to find the girl before it's too late. 

In the aftermath of the resident mean girl's disappearance, shy teen Melissa must learn to navigate the pressures and perks of popularity-but not without feeling the need to look over her shoulder.
