Now on the run, Jake and I sought refuge in the grotto lands, a mysterious region of hidden perils and dark secrets. As I fought a life-threatening infection and Jake searched for medicine, my attractive new caretaker made his move, threatening the fragile relationship I had with Jake.

Jealousy and conspiracy ran rampant and danger lurked in the shadows. The lines between friend, foe, and lover started to blur as my reality became largely based on who I chose to believe.

Would I escape with the love of my life, or would I escape at all? Would he come for me? Did I still want him to? Do even fallen angels deserve a chance to get back up?
