I found this book when I did a search for Shelly Laurenston books in the Apple iBooks store. ms. sanders books came up in the results, I thought maybe this was a pseudonym, but that does not appear to be the case. For whatever reason, it came up and I am glad that it did. This was a sweet and emotional read. I liked watching Megan become more confident and grow. I thought the issues with the abuse were handled well. Todd was supportive and was not pushy. This is the first book in a series, and u could definitely tell who is likely to be hooking up in later books.

I couldn't put this book down once I started. What a great story of recovery and new love. I enjoyed seeing how the main characters came together with just the right amount of steamy scenes.

I loved reading about the small town of Pride and want to visit Oregon. I am looking forward to reading the next books in the series.

A really great book, but Megan was sort of annoying.

I loved this book, it had great characters and a great story line. Very romantic.

The story was amazing though the timeline was pretty fast and just a little confusing otherwise i loved it

Hard to read. Disjointed and jumpy. Read about 50 pages and then gave up. Hopefully this author will mature.

I'm a big fan of literature, which why I'm writing this review.. Jill Sanders has talent but not only is this book superfluous it's at times inarticulate.. The story has good bones but needs more substance.. I couldn't get past the first chapter, sorry.

Just a great read, I did skip some of the bedroom scenes.

Enjoy this one as much as I did.

This was different from other romance stories. The loss of a brother brings her to a small town. She has lived in an abusive marriage for years and has physical and emotional injuries. A widowers falls in love with her. There’s so much fear and emotions that you can’t help but to feel with them. Great story.
