An explanation of the pattern notation system is given in diagram form at the beginning, followed by the patterns themselves. Includes alternate bass-note patterns, bass connecting runs, practice progressions, capo positions with their corresponding key relationships, a transposing chart, information on transposing progressions and a brief section on alternate tunings. Written in a simple diagram format without notation or tablature.
