Unblemished fair skin beckoned him to touch, to caress.
To lick.
He clenched his teeth at the need that surged through him.
SCORCHED BY DESIRE
As a dragon shapeshifter Dimitri lives to protect the secret of the Dragon Kings from the human race. Bound by a bond stronger than blood to the Kings, Dimitri uses his strength and prowess to defend a thousand-year-old secret. But when an oh-so-sexy, slightly absent-minded archaeologist wanders into his midst, Dimitri will have to give up his rules, and give in to desire...
SAVED BY LOVE
When Dr. Faith Reynold stumbles upon an ancient skeleton that appears to come from a dragon, she’s completely taken aback. As a woman of science, there’s no way, in her mind, that this mythological creature can exist. But when a devilishly handsome man named Dimitri intercepts her path to uncovering the truth, Faith’s curiosity turns into all-consuming passion. She’s never felt this way about any man before. But when Dimitri reveals his biggest secret, can she learn to love the man—as well as the dragon within, in Firestorm, the next Dark Kings novel by New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant.
Avis d’utilisateurs
The Hidden Enemy
Donna Grant writes an excellent series of books, The Dragon Kings! We know who the enemy is at least the obvious ones. In this case Dmitri finds his mate but all things do not go along smoothly! It starts out well but as her assistant says he can sense evil. Yes, there are plot twist but such interesting things are coming out. Con has his concerns which he finally verbalizes and the Kings and their mates are not happy about it. Ulrik and the uncle are both up to no good but read this very interesting book and learn so much more.
Firestorm
Button up your hatches! This is an active book. I love this series. I love Dragons! It has been a while since we had a new story so it will take a bit to get acquainted again. Con, King of Dragons, is trying to keep everything cool. Faith found a dragon skeleton and here goes your read. Dmitri came back to his home to take his lost dragon home. There is danger when he shifts. The Dark Fae and the Light Fae are on the move. Then the Reapers are watching. Everyone wants everything for themselves. Soon the pot is going to come to a giant boil. I like this read. It flows around and keeps you on your toes. Donna gives us a good story line. Her characters give you some real action. Don't let this story get away from you. Check this book out and enjoy your reading! I volunteered to read and review this book.
Story Problems
I am a disappointed fan. The structure of her stories has changed since releasing the stories in four parts. At the same time, there is just too much going on, and not nearly enough stand alone resolution. An especially intense large group dialogue, involving both the Kings' new enemy and Faith's ancestors, does - indeed - go in circles. Yet no mention is made at that time of either the Ulrik look-alike or Faith's mom's obsession with dragons - negations which make the dialogue unrealistic. Con and Rhi carry my interest from story to story, but the author can write better than this. Lastly, regarding the Blaze excerpt - I would have appreciated something more than a mere sex scene.
