Over the warm waters of my bathtub, the invigorating scent of eucalyptus, lime and camphor lingers in the form of an herbal infused steam. The candle lit room calms my spirit and the scent of herbal incense fumigates and tingles my nose.

This simple ritual draws magick and power into my every being. Magickal bathing is an ancient practice stemming from many traditions of witchcraft and magick. The ancestors of the Witch bathed using natural ingredients, to cure illness, to draw love, to bring riches, to remove and return evil and to attract luck.

The Witch or “Root-Worker” grew and harvested his or her own plants and flowers. They “worked” and nurtured the plant, learning its attributes and magickal forces.
