With two big names to lead . . .
, Child and Lescroat, this anthology is a sorry embarrassment to both best-selling authors. I was particularly startled by Lescroat’s “contribution,” which read like a silly James Bond parody. The striving lesser-knowns who agreed to contribute may never live this down.
