Levra Shield and her husband Gunnar survived the treacherous journey from Earth to New Eden. While she thrives among the native Ddaerans, Gunnar travels to deep space for a top secret mission under the direction of Abramov Command.

After a long absence, Gunnar returns with new orders to explore a remote part of New Eden, but Levra senses not all is as it seems. Does the mission conceal a sinister purpose?

Suspicious of Abramov's motives, Levra is determined to save the peace-loving Ddaerans from a terrible fate and must take drastic action to uncover the threat.
