Just ok
It was not up to the author’s usual standard. To be honest, the plot lacked complexity and believability. As usual, the author does an excellent job of describing Texas; I will give him that, but the characters are getting a bit stale and sometimes stereotypical. It's an easy read. I was expecting more poker, and was disappointed.
