Heartbreakingly good book
I had preordered this book, and while I received it the day it was released, I read some of the reviews & knew it was more than a “romance”, a book that would take its toll on the readers heart. Well, about 6 months later, I preordered the sequel & decided it was time to read this first book.
Needless to say, this book IS more than a romance. It focuses more on the girl he left behind than the soldier. It’s romantic, heartbreaking, funny, devastating & happy.
Now, I can’t wait for book 2.
Five years gone
I dint cry or get emotional like other reviewers. Glad she ends up the right way but after all the hype in the book the end was very anticlimactic

Loved the writing of this story, kept me wanting to read more. Have Kleenex handi, very emotional!!!
