Fleeing From Myself

Biography of Ian Lucas, an equestrian showman, and stuntman-actor who appeared in one of the last Errol Flynn films, and of his wife, Joy, whom he married 20 years after their first meeting when he was living with her mother. Ian & Joy are later locally famous as entrepreneurs in southern England where he sold kerosene and ice-cream on seasonal rounds, initially while resting between movies. Ian & Joy operated a variety of seasonal businesses in Littlehampton, England, and Ian for a decade operated the one-rides on the beach. Their lives from the 1930’s onwards covered a variety of activities and ways-of-life that no longer exist.
