My Favorite Book
This is my most cherished book of all time. There is something so sweet, so sad, and so beautiful, yet so complicated in each of these characters. It is an epic, family tale that I've read and re-read many times. From beginning to end, each character is a product of its time but also timeless in their humanity, their yearning for something more. I've read all of Mr. Cunningham's books and while all are decent to good (and one won a Pulitzer), none hold a candle to this amazing and heartfelt saga.
