APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Adventure and international intrigue mix explosively in Clive Cussler’s 14th Dirk Pitt thriller. When Dirk heads to the tranquil shores of Orion Lake seeking some R&R, trouble follows him. The marine engineer discovers a horrific secret at the bottom of the lake, stumbles on a human trafficking operation, and rescues a beautiful undercover agent—and that’s just the start of this wild ride. Cussler wastes no time launching his hero into another dangerous, globe-trotting mission that had us reading hungrily to get to the end.

Better Than The Blurbs
There are all kinds of adventure novels carrying complimentary “blurbs” by other authors(for a fee?). But never are those books as good as a Dirk Pitt novel. Don’t miss this one. (That’s my blurb, and I’m not paid!)
Waaaay too long and plodding. Definitely not Clive’s best.
As usual it was great. Information and action fantastic.
