During the Apartheid Era in Cape Town, South Africa, there was also discrimination amongst families of colour. A ‘mix race’ identity meant one parent was white, the other coloured or black. Based on a true outline, this drama reflects the life of an educated coloured woman who came from a sophisticated and classy upbringing but due to her darker skin colour, was ill-treated by the ‘mix race’ family of the man she loved and adored . With him working away at sea Louise finds herself in unbearable situations while living with his family on their farm.
