Flowing Gold

Calvin Gray finds himself in Dallas during the oil boom without a penny to his name. But, this isn't a problem for Calvin. You see, Calvin is a con man. He doesn't consider himself a bad person, though. He is genuine, noble, and generally on the right side of the law. He just knows how to play the game. Perhaps he bends the rules a bit, but who doesn't?

Calvin soon makes up for his financial deficit by making acquaintances along the way. He befriends a well-known jeweler, who introduces him to a family whom just discovered a fortune in oil on their ranch. Calvin happily takes them under his wing, helping the son find a college, connecting the daughter with an etiquette coach, and finding a mountain-side resort where the parents can enjoy their new-found wealth.

Despite his dubious history, Calvin somehow becomes a noted and beloved citizen of Dallas. This is a riveting story about adventure and success, love and revenge.
