Fontoon

A satire on the absurdity of life it has the reader laughing out loud. Comparable to Samuel Beckett's Murphy and Flann O'Brien's At Swim-Two-Birds it is both erudite and grotesquely surreal. At the edge of the city, Admiral Fontoon tends the lighthouse at Wossafocken Point and dreams of being a famous poet.
