Short in length, not in feels
What happens when a matchmaker and a firefighter get thrown together at a bachelor auction? Steamy and fireworks are on display.
April has no time or interest in finding her own match, just those for her clients. Robbie can’t find anyone who wants more than just a night, banging the hot calendar model. He’s tired of feeling like a piece of meat. Ironic that he’s forced to be one of those bachelors being sold to the highest bidder.
But sparks fly and feeling develop when they start to get to know the real April and Robbie. But the have to stop running scared. This couple is simply delightful and I loved the premise of the book…and the flip of the male character resenting how women treat him. I haven’t read any of the other Fun for the Holidays novellas from J Sterling, just her full length books…which I love. But I’ll be grabbing these while they’re realeased if they as good as April and Robbie’s romance is.
Loved It!
First off I am loving this series! This time we have workaholic matchmaker April believing she is perfect happy with her life. Jaded fireman Robbie is just done dating and women. When April’s former boss Sheila puts together a charity auction and forced her to bid on Robbie these two had no idea the changes coming their way. What a fun quick read. I couldn’t put it down!!
