Descripción editorial
Jake Fox is a man on a mission. Armed with a collection of mysterious letters between his late father and a stranger named Ryan, Jake wants nothing more than to unravel the enigma: Just who is this Ryan guy? But when Jake arrives in Dull, Oregon, he finds Ryan is no guy at all.
Ryan Green is just trying to get by. So while the handsome stranger who pays for her groceries intrigues her, caring for her dying mom and raising her dead sister’s daughter are all she has time for. But when the muscular handyman moves in across the street, the spark of their chemistry is difficult to ignore.
Safe in the blue-eyed beauty’s company, Jake can’t quite confront his past—or share his true purpose in Oregon. But the deeper Ryan falls, the closer their intertwined histories come to splitting them apart.
For Fox Sake is the poignant fifth book in the Fox Family romantic comedy series and can be read as a stand-alone, but the experience is definitely enhanced by starting with book one: Between a Fox and a Hard Place!
If you like witty characters, swoony moments, and grief leavened with humor, then you’ll adore this heartfelt tale of love, loss, and the complexities of unraveling the past.

Ryan and Jake
This may be the first book I’ve read by this author, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’ve already purchased several more of her books, since I enjoyed Ryan and Jake’s story so much. Jake goes to Dull, Oregon to find Ryan and find out why he was writing to his late father. Imagine his surprise when Ryan is a gorgeous woman. Jake first sees Ryan at the grocery store, in the checkout line. He pays for her groceries, when she can’t find her wallet. Ryan is caring for her dying mom and her late sister’s daughter, Ari. I’m not going to leave any spoilers but this book will take you on a roller coaster ride, as you’re reading about these characters. Do yourself a favor and grab your copy. I bet you’ll want to read more of this author’s books, just like I do.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Heart, Humor, Family, Overcoming Grief and Life's Obstacles, and Even a Mystery - Amazing Book!
This was the perfect wrap-up to the amazing Fox family series. It is easily read as a standalone as the sibling cameos are well-explained, so their individual backstories are not crucial to this narrative (although they are also great books if you get a chance to read the series). The youngest sibling Jake travels to Dull, Oregon to find his deceased father's mystery pen-pal Ryan (who surprise! is an attractive young woman, and raising her niece, Ari). The characters are all well written, with depth, humor and without spoilers, their new-found relationship evokes ALL the feels. And there were more chills as Ryan and Ari meet Jake's siblings and their partners and are enveloped into the "Fox Den" - definitely eyes were leaking. I am glad to see the series end on such a high note and am looking forward to the next book from this author - Enjoy!
I love this series so much!
Started and finished in 1 day. This is the 5th (and final 😢) book in the Fox sibling series. And possibly my favorite, and I’ve loved them all. Having gone through a loss myself this book kicked me right in the feels and I may have (I did) cried a few times. At least the last cry was a happy one. I’m sad to know my journey with these characters is over. Sending a huge shout out to the author for sending me the arc to read for free. This review is my own and given (through my tears) happily
