At thirty eight, former Marine Jack Mercer thought he had already survived the hardest years of his life.

War zones. Broken friendships. Sleepless nights.
None of it prepared him for one summer in suburban California.

Sophia Barrera is no longer the awkward professor's daughter he barely remembers. She is twenty five now. Beautiful, athletic, reckless, and impossible to ignore. From the moment Jack steps into her father's house, the tension between them feels dangerous.

Every glance lasts too long.
Every touch feels intentional.
And every second under the same roof pushes them closer to a line neither of them should cross.

Jack came looking for peace after years of chaos.

Instead, he found temptation waiting barefoot in the living room.

All sexual acts are carried out between adults 18 years and over. Please do not read if this subject matter offends.
