Interesting family situation…
Divorce often complicates relationships in a family, but this one had some interesting facets. The ex-wife was still living in the adjacent apartment; the older son had been out of the country and returns to factor into the family. The forming of the new family unit seems to be having a rocky start. The two stepsons don’t related well at first, and the real life problems of Tyler slowly are revealed. Taylor and Ben bond after Taylor’s attack, and their relationship complicates life, factoring into the step father’s illness. I would have been more supportive of the stepbrothers, but the author is more realistic. The premise of this story is believable, and the future seems to be a realistic possibility. Good read.
