Dr. Eve Sinclair is in Savannah to learn about her late mother's life and get to know the aunt she'd never met, but after meeting a stranger, she becomes instantly intrigued by the alluring and enigmatic woman who goes completely against the rules of high society.

Julien Carlisle is elusive and fiercely private, preferring a life of strategy and distance over society's shallow demands. Traveling often and revealing little, she moves through life like a masterful chess player—controlled, deliberate, untouchable, until an unexpected encounter with a beautiful newcomer threatens to upend the rules she's always lived by.

Anything other than friendship between the two of them is completely forbidden by high society, as well as the ancient order in which Julien was born into and must protect.

A Dark Romance.
