Publisher Description
From the New York Times bestselling author of the Dark Protectors series comes a sexy romantic suspense full of "twists and reversals" (Publishers Weekly) that will keep readers' hearts pounding until the very last page.
His Secrets Can Destroy Her
From the moment Josie laid eyes on sexy, mysterious Shane Dean, she was in love. Their desire ignited a passionate affair, and within weeks, Shane had slipped a ring on her finger. It seemed her every fantasy was coming true . . . until her new husband disappeared without a trace. Now, two years and one broken heart later, Josie is shocked when the hospital calls: Shane has been found . . . at a crime scene with no memory of how he got there.
Her Love Can Save Him
Shane can't remember the blue-eyed angel at his bedside--or who he even is--but he knows something isn't right. His hearing is razor sharp, his physical strength incredible, and the urge to protect Josie overwhelming. For powerful enemies are hunting him, and Josie is the key to discovering why. As Shane struggles to unravel his past, dangerous new truths come to light. Can he protect the only woman he's ever loved? And can Josie trust a man she thought she knew--one who carries such a deadly secret?
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
After two months of marriage, Josie Dean's husband, Shane, abandoned her, leaving her to take refuge in her accounting career. Two years later, an amnesiac and bloody Shane reappears, with little memory of his past life but with an unwavering certainty that he still wants Josie and must protect "his woman." Josie wants him to finalize their divorce, but her determination to move on with her life is at war both with Shane and her own desires. As Shane puzzles out his past, he realizes he's more of a deadly weapon than a man, with superhuman strength, hearing, and expertise in killing. Fans of romantic suspense will enjoy the twists and reversals that Zanetti (the Dark Protector series) puts her protagonists through, and there's a sly subversion of the tiresome trope of the helpless little woman and the brawny protective man as, time and again, Josie proves more than capable of taking care of herself.

Meh
The book wasn’t bad but it wasn’t as good as her other books. The heroine kinda got on my nerves she was so wishy-washy and couldn’t seem to make a decision to save her life. It also seemed like the same thing happened to the poor woman throughout the whole story. Not JZ’s best work. Hopefully the next one will be better.
Forgotten Sin
This book reminds us that we must keep monitoring government covert training. So many times you hear he or she was killed my training accidents, exhaustion or on live ammo training. The charters had depth, believable personalities and government experimentations was not out of the realm of what has already been exposed. Page turner......good read

Boring
Ridiculous story. Kind of comical. Although, I’m sure that was not Rebecca’s intention. Josie is boring and definitely a TSTL. She is married to Shane. Shane has amnesia., due to an attack. Memory is slowly returning. Josie is constantly asking him why he left. I mean through out the book. Really! He can’t remember. Josie and Shane were all over the place emotionally. Made the story very tedious. When the brothers, Matt and Nathan joined the party, it got a little better. The story surrounding Josie was a little ridiculous. Definitely inconsistencies. The brother’s have gifts. One of Shane’s was advanced hearing. He could hear foot steps from miles away, or whatever. And yet he could not hear his wife being threatened while sitting outside her office. Details. I may read another in the series because Rebecca is one of my favorite authors.
