A meteor lands in Greenland with no warning, and with it comes new life. Ian and Lance's parents are stuck in Hawaii when the riots close in on their home. With their parents halfway across the world, the boys are abruptly forced to forsake their childhood in order to survive. Interesting/gratuitous vulgar language
I really liked the characters initially, however, as the novel progressed the writing devolved into sophomoric vulgar language. Concept was solid, story became juvenile. I will read the next one just to see if it gets better and author drops the sophomoric language.
Forsaken World: Innocence Lost
Bought the first book, it started out ok. Only problem was each chapter only gave me one page!!! Not much reading when one only gets a brief for a chapter??!!!
Disappointing
I read the first book and I liked the storyline. So I downloaded six of them because we were going on vacation and I wanted something to read. I enjoyed the chapters with the moms and the dads traveling across country. But that was about it. There was a lot of extremely foul language a lot of very disturbing things in all the books. I stopped reading them and found other books to read. I cannot recommend these books to anyone.
