Unpleasant ending
These kinds of books are supposed to have you on edge but then have a happy ending . This one ended with the villain escaping with nearly all the protagonist’s money and leaving her and her husband having to sell off their home and having to live with money problems . Leaves an unpleasant taste in your mouth .
